Tefillin Blessings

Recite the blessing upon putting on tefillin (for both the hand-tefillin and the head-tefillin):
Barukh Ata Adonai Eloheinu, Melekh Ha’olam, Asher Kid’shanu b’mitzvotav v’tzivanu l’hani’ah t’filin.

Wrapping of hand-tefillin three times around the middle finger – once around the middle joint and twice around the joint nearest the hand:
V’erastih li leolam. V’erastih li be-tzedek uv-mishpat, uv-hes’ed, uv-rahamim. V’erastih li b’emunah, ve-yada’at et Adonai.
