Blessing Over the Trees

  1. The blessing may be recited any time during the month of Nisan.
  2. Do not recite this blessing on Sabbath or Yom-Tov.
  3. Its preferable to recite the blessing together with a minyan (quorum of ten adult men) so that Kaddish can be recited.
  4. Its preferable to recite this blessing outside of the city.
  5. This blessing is recited over two or more trees that have blossomed (allowed if same type of tree).
  6. Do not recite the blessing on a tree that was grafted illegally.

For the sake of the unification of the Holy One, blessed is He, and His Divine Presence – with reverence and love and love and reverence – to unify the Name Yod Ke with Vav Ke in a perfect unity, in the name of all Israel and in the name of all lower souls, spirits, and higher souls which relate to the roots of our lower soul, spirit, and higher soul, and that which clothes them and those in their proximity that generally derive from the worlds of: Emanation, Creation, Formation and Making and from all the specific sources of: Emanation, Creation, Formation and Making.  We are hereby prepared and ready to fulfill the commandment of reciting the blessing that the Sages, of blessed memory, instituted over the seeing of blossoming trees.  And may it be considered before You, Adonai, our God, God of our forefathers, as if we had contemplated all the meanings that are appropriate to the contemplate when reciting this blessing – as well as the secrets within it.  And may it be deemed worthy and acceptable and favorable before You – this blessing to select and to bring up through it all the holy sparks that are intermingled in all vegetation, and all the lower souls, spirits, and higher souls that are reincarnated within it.  And You, O God, with Your attribute of goodness and with Your great kindness, illuminate for them with the light of Your countenance and complete their selection and their rectification.  Bless them, purify them; Your compassionate righteousness always grant them.  And may it be Your will, Adonai, our God, God of our forefathers, that in the merit of this blessing that we are about to recite, may it come true for us, the statement: “Behold the scent of my son is like the fragrance of the field that was blessed by Adonai.”  And may we receive the largesse of the ten blessings, as is written: “May God grant you from the dew of the heavens and from the fat of the earth, and an abundance of grain and wine.  Let nations serve you and kingdoms bow down to you.  Be a ruler over your brothers and let your mother’s children bow to you.  Let those who curse you be cursed and those who bless you be blessed.”  May they find favor  – the utterance of my mouth, and the thoughts of my heart – before You, Adonai, my Rock and my Redeemer.  May the pleasantness of Adonai, our God, be upon us, O God, establish our handiwork for us – our handiwork establish.

Recite the blessing with joy and concentration:

Blessed are You, Adonai, our God, King of the universe, Who did not allow anything to lack in His world and Who created good creatures within it and good trees to give pleasure to mankind through them.

A powerful rectification revealed by the holy Rebbe Nachman of Breslov – a selection of Ten Psalms that Rabbi Nachman recommened for recital as a general spiritual remedy bringing inner purity and joy as well as many other benefits. These psalms are: 16, 32, 41, 42, 59, 77, 90, 105, 137 and 150.

Psalm 16

A Miktam of David. Preserve me, O God; for in you I put my trust. I have said to the Lord, You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you; As for the holy ones who are in the earth, they are the excellent, in whom is all my delight. And for those who choose another god, their sorrows shall be multiplied; their drink offerings of blood I will not offer, nor take up their names upon my lips. The Lord is the portion of my inheritance and of my cup; you maintain my lot.The lines are fallen for me in pleasant places; I have a goodly heritage. I will bless the Lord, who has given me counsel; my insides also instruct me in the night seasons. I have set the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; my flesh also dwells secure. For you will not abandon my soul to Sheol; nor will you suffer your pious one to see the pit. You will show me the path of life; in your presence is fullness of joy; at your right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Psalm 32

A Psalm of David, A Maskil. Happy is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Happy is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile. When I kept silence, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night your hand was heavy on me; my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah. I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to the Lord; and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah. For this shall every one who is pious pray to you in a time when you may be found; then surely the floods of great waters shall not come near him. You are my hiding place; you shall preserve me from trouble; you shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah. I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you. Do not be like the horse, or like the mule, which have no understanding; whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they do not come near you. Many are the sorrows of the wicked; but loving kindness shall surround him who trusts in the Lord. Psalm 41

To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. Happy is he who considers the poor; the Lord will save in the day of evil. The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive; he is called happy on earth; and you will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. The Lord will strengthen him on his sick bed; whenever he is prostrate you will heal all his illnesses. I said, Lord, be merciful to me; heal my soul; for I have sinned against you. My enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish?  And if one comes to see me, he speaks vanity; his heart gathers iniquity to itself; when he goes out, he tells it. All who hate me whisper together against me; against me they plot my harm. They say, An evil disease cleaves fast to him, and from where he lies he shall rise up no more. Even my own close friend, in whom I trusted, who ate of my bread, has lifted up his heel against me. But you, O Lord, be gracious to me, and raise me up, that I may pay them back. By this I know that you favor me, because my enemy does not triumph over me. And as for me, you uphold me in my integrity, and you set me before your face for ever. Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.

Psalm 42

My soul thirsts for God, for the living God; when shall I come and appear before God? My tears have been my bread day and night, while they continually say to me, Where is your God? When I remember these things, I pour out my soul; how I went with the multitude, leading them in procession to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, a crowd keeping the festival. Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him for the help of his countenance. O my God, my soul is cast down within me, because I remember you from the land of the Jordan, and the Hermon, from Mount Mizar. Deep calls to deep at the noise of your cataracts; all your waves and your billows have gone over me. By day the Lord will command his loving kindness, and in the night his song shall be with me, a prayer to the God of my life. I will say to God my rock, Why have you forgotten me? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? Like a deadly wound in my bones, my enemies taunt me; while they say daily to me, Where is your God?Why are you cast down, O my soul? Psalm 59

To the chief Musician, Altaschith, A Miktam of David; when Saul sent, and they watched the house to kill him. Save me from my enemies, O my God; defend me from those who rise up against me. Save me from the evil doers, and save me from bloody men. For, behold, they lie in wait for my soul; fierce men are gathered against me; not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O Lord. They run and prepare themselves for no fault of mine; awake to help me, and behold. You therefore, O Lord God of hosts, the God of Israel, awake to punish all the nations; do not be merciful to any wicked traitors. Selah. They return at evening; they howl like dogs, and go prowling around the city. Behold, they belch out with their mouth; swords are in their lips; for Who hears?, say they. But you, O Lord, shall laugh at them; you shall have all the nations in derision. Psalm 77

To the chief Musician, to Jeduthun, A Psalm of Asaph. I cry aloud to God, aloud to God, that he may hear me. In the day of my trouble I seek the Lord; my hand is stretched out in the night, and does not rest; my soul refuses to be comforted. I remember God, and I moan; I meditate and my spirit faints. Selah. You hold my eyelids from closing; I am so troubled that I cannot speak. I consider the days of old, the years of ancient times. I remember my melody in the night; I talk with my heart; and my spirit searches. Will the Lord cast off for ever? And will he be favorable no more? Has his loving kindness ceased for ever? Does his promise fail for evermore? Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah. And I said, It is my sickness that the right hand of the Most High has changed. I will remember the works of the Lord; surely I will remember your wonders of old. And I will meditate on all your work, and muse on your deeds. Your way, O God, is holy. Who is so great a God as our God?. You are the God that does wonders; you have declared your strength among the people. With your arm you have redeemed your people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Psalm 90

A Prayer of Moses the man of God. Lord, you have been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, before you had formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting, you are God. You turn man back to dust; and say, Turn back, O children of men! For a thousand years in your sight are but like yesterday when it is past, and like a watch in the night. You sweep them away; they are like sleepers; they are like short lived grass in the morning. In the morning it flourishes, and fades; by evening it is withered and dry. For we are consumed by your anger, and by your wrath are we terrified. You have set our iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your countenance. For all our days pass away in your wrath; we spend our years like a tale that is told. The days of our years are seventy; or if, because of strength, they are eighty years, yet their pride is but trouble and wretchedness; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Who knows the power of your anger? According to your fear, so is your wrath. So teach us to number our days, that we may get a heart of wisdom. Return, O Lord! How long? And relent concerning your servants. O satisfy us in the morning with your loving kindness; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days. Make us glad as many days as you have afflicted us, and as many years as we have seen evil. Let your work be visible to your servants, and your glory to their children. And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us; and establish the work of our hands upon us; O prosper it, the work of our hands.

Psalm 105

O give thanks to the Lord; call upon his name; make known his deeds among the people! Sing to him, sing psalms to him; talk you of all his wondrous works! Glory in his holy name; let the heart of those who seek the Lord rejoice! Seek the Lord, and his strength; seek his face continually! Remember his marvelous works that he has done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth; O seed of Abraham, his servant! O children of Jacob, his chosen! Psalm 137

By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, we also wept, when we remembered Zion. We hung our lyres on the willows in its midst. For there those who carried us away captive required of us a song; and those who tormented us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion. How shall we sing the Lord’s song in a foreign land? If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning. If I do not remember you, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I do not set Jerusalem above my highest joy. Remember, O Lord, against the Edomites, the day of Jerusalem; who said, Raze it, raze it, to its foundation. O daughter of Babylon, you are to be destroyed! Happy shall he be, who repays you for what you have done to us. Happy shall he be, who takes your little ones and dashes them against the rock.

Psalm 150

Hallelujah! Praise God in his sanctuary! Praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts! Praise him according to his exceeding greatness. Praise him with the sound of the shofar! Praise him with the harp and the lyre. Praise him with the tambourine and dance! Praise him with stringed instruments and the pipe. Praise him with sounding cymbals! Praise him with loud clashing cymbals. Let every thing that breathes praise the Lord! Hallelujah.

For men:

A good reputation is better than good oil, and the day of death [is better] than the day he was born. In the final analysis all is heard, so fear Hod and heed His commandments, for that is [the lot of] all mankind. The pious will rejoice in honor – they will sing joyously upon their beds. He Who has mercy on all creatures, will have forbearance, compassion and mercy on the vital force, spirit and soul of (name of deceased) son of (name of the mother of deceased). May the Godly Spirit rest him in Gan Eden, him and all the Children of Israel who rest together with him in mercy and forgiveness. And may it be so willed, and we will say, Amen.

For women:

A valorous wife – who can find? Her value is far greater than pearls. Favor is deceptive and beauty is vain; a God-fearing woman – she should be praised. Give her the fruit of her hands, and let her own deeds praise her in the gates. He Who has mercy on all creatures, will have forbearance, compassion and mercy on the vital force, spirit and soul of (name of deceased) daughter of (name of the mother of deceased)May the Godly Spirit rest her in Gan Eden, her and all the Children of Israel who rest together with her in mercy and forgiveness. Rabbi Hananya ben Akashya says: The Holy One, blessed is He, desired to grant merit to Israel.  He therefore gave them an abundance of Torah and commandments, as it is stated: Adonai wished for the sake of his (Israel’s) righteousness, He made the Torah great and gave strength.

Exalted and sanctified be His great Name in the world that He created according to His will.  May His kingdom reign, and may He cause His redemption to sprout, and may He hasten the coming of His Messiah in your lifetime and in your days, and in the lifetime of the entire House of Israel, speedily and very soon; and say: Amen.

Наш папа Петя Иноятов родился 12 июня 1947 года в многоуважаемой семье Меера Иноятова и Ривки Аминовой. В семье было четверо сыновей. Петя был младшим сыном.
В 1956 году скоропостижно скончался его отец Меер Иноятов. Папе было 9 лет.
Мать Ривка Аминова заменила детям и мать, и отца. Она вырастила, дала всем им высшее образование, женила.

Петя, окончив школу, поступил в Политехнический институт на строительный факультет.
После учёбы в институте он 2 года прослужил в армии в чине лейтенанта. В 1973 году он начинает свою трудовую деятельность инженером в строительной организации. Везде, где бы он не работал, его любили и уважали, ценили как хорошего, трудолюбивого специалиста и отзывчивого сотрудника.

В 1974 году папа соединил свою судьбу с нашей мамой, Светланой Пинхасовой – внучкой из знаменитого рода рава Гавриэля Давыдова (Ханоча) и Ксио Ароновой и дочерью многоуважаемых Гриши Пинхасова и Соришки Давыдовой. В семье родились трое детей: Марина, Ирина и Исаак. Родители прожили вместе 47 лет, делили все радости и трудности жизни. Всех детей воспитали в атмосфере исполнения заповедей Торы. Они привили им с самого детства уважение к старшим, самостоятельность и взаимопомощь.

В молодом возрасте судьба распорядилась так, что в 1984 году папа потерял старшего брата Бенсиона Иноятова, а в 1987 году – второго брата Симхо Иноятова. Но он мужественно перенёс эти удары судьбы, очень много помогал семьям ушедших братьев, сыграл свадьбы их детей у нас дома. Все, кто с ним сталкивались по работе и по жизни, уважали его за скромность, доброту, чуткость и порядочность. Он всегда протягивал руку помощи всем.

В 1993 году наша семья вместе с бабушкой иммигрировали в США, обосновавшись в Нью-Йорке. Здесь мы тоже постепенно встали на ноги. Мы, дети, пошли учиться в колледжи и успешно окончили их.

В 1999 году наш папа потерял свою мамочку – нашу бабушку Ривку Аминову и по её завещанию папа отвёз и похоронил её в Иерусалиме на кладбище «Гиват Шауль».
Наши родители выдали замуж дочерей и женили сына. Папа с мамой с большим уважением относились к зятьям и невестке. У них 10 внуков. Он очень любил детей и внуков, заботился о них. Он был лучшим дедушкой, любящим мужем, любимым отцом. Папочка был нашей опорой в жизни и навсегда останется примером для подражания для всех нас – детей и внуков.

Последние 8 с половиной лет наш папа боролся с коварной болезнью, его здоровье пошатнулось, но он никогда не падал духом. Он преодолел много трудностей, но никогда не сдавался.

Но в 2020 году мы потеряли свою любимую старшую дочь и сестру Мариночку в возрасте 45 лет, и это усугубило его болезнь. В последние 6 месяцев состояние его здоровья резко ухудшилось, и коварная смерть вырвала его у нас. Он ушёл в мир иной и был благодарен всем тем, кто заботился о нём, поддерживал и помогал ему в тяжёлый период жизни.

Мы благодарны отцу и маме за то, что дали нам жизнь, вырастили нас и привили чувство любви и уважения к нашим еврейским ценностям.

Ваш светлый образ навсегда сохранится в наших сердцах.

Светлая память о вас будет жить в сердцах всех родных и близких, кому вы дарили тепло, заботу и любовь.

Помним, папа родной, твои добрые руки
И улыбку твою, и ласковый взгляд.
Ты по-прежнему нужен своим детям и внукам,
И слова твои в наших душах горят.

Как жаль, что с нами больше нет тебя,

Наш отец, Симхо Иноятов родился 23 Мая 1939 года в городе Бухаре, в очень уважаемой семье Миера Иноятова и Ривко Аминовой. Он был вторым сыном в семье. С детства родители воспитали нашего отца религиозным человеком, обучили его законам Торы и чтению на Иврите, привили любовь к труду и уважение к взрослым. С юных лет наш отец отличался своей любознательностью и тягой к знаниям, проводил много времени за книгами, и также занимался спортом; играл в баскетбол, футбол и шахматы.

В 17 лет, оставшись без отца, наш папа – ученик 10-го класса средней школы – изучил работу зубного техника и начал свою трудовую деятельность. Чтобы стать квалифицированным специалистом, наш отец с 1958 по 1961 годы учился в Зубоврачебном Техникуме в начале в городе Чарджоу a затем в Мары. После окончания техникума он 2 года проработал в городе Нукусе. Понимая необходимость получения высшего образования наш отец решил продолжить свою учёбу и в 1963 году поступил в Московский Стоматологический Медицинский Институт. Успешно окончив институт, наш отец в 1968 году начинает работать врачом-стоматологом в Бухарской Областной Стоматологической Поликлинике. Постоянно работая над повышением своей квалификации и систематически усовершенствовав свои знания, он становится одним из ведущих врачей-стоматологов Бухарской области. Благодаря своему трудолюбию, невероятному терпению и выдержке он завоевал огромный авторитет среди коллег и пациентов, которые по сей день отзываются о нем добрым словом. Несмотря на всеобщее признание и уважение, он в тоже время оставался очень скромным, честным и глубоко порядочным человеком.

В 1965 году наш отец связывает свою судьбу с нашей мамой Лизой Норовой. Прожив совместно 22 года и создав крепкую и дружную семью, они воспитали двух сыновей и одну дочь. Наш папа был прекрасным семьянином, любящим отцом и надёжным другом. Он был очень гостеприимным, хозяйственным и добрым человеком, всегда готовым бескорыстно помочь людям словом и делом.

Прожив недолгую но очень плодотворную и достойную жизнь, наш отец оставил после себя доброе имя и светлую память, которая навеки сохранится в сердцах родных и близких.
